Lewis Martin, a retired college professor, stumbles upon the body of a friend of his, Martin Aguilera, when he stops by his cabin for a quick visit. When he later returns with the sheriff, the body is no longer there and there is no real evidence that anything had taken place in the cabin.

This is a bunch of notes that desperately wanted to become a book. Sadly, this venture never succeeded.
Basically someone killed Martin Aguilera. And Maggie. And Peabody. And our MC’s likely to get killed as well soon. The whys are not important: we got a crazy deus ex machina going at full tilt. And it’s doing its damndest to kill off everyone on this character set. Because that’s what deuses ex machinaes do! Be it as it may but it’s is not my favourite arrangement of a novel, not the fav plot vehicle and, damn, why did all the characters get made of stale cardboard, so… Not my favourive cardboard modeling set. …more
