If George R.R. Martin follows the adage ‘kill your darlings’ then Stephen Deas must follow the adage of ‘kill your darlings and every other character as well.’
This book was brilliant but so so dark. There seriously wasn’t many characters that weren’t at least 50% evil but they were all so interesting. And the dragons even more so. I can’t wait to see where the author goes with the plot-line in future books in the series. Mini Review:
